Servicing Golf Carts

Prepare your Golf Cart for the Season

General Service

Tires:

Check tire pressure, adjust if needed. Condition of tires and rims and replace if needed.

SERVICE BRAKES:

Clean & Adjust. Check brake shoe lining, replace if needed. Check brake cables for excessive wear.

REAR AXLE:

Check current condition. Drain & replace fluid if needed. Check for oil leaks.

FRONT & REAR SUSPENSION:

Check for strut oil leakage. Check for excessive play in hubs/kingpins. Check for worn bushings, replace if needed. Check for loose/missing hardware.

STEERING ASSEMBLY:

Check for excessive play. Check for loose or missing hardware.

OIL:

Replace oil filter. Replace engine oil.

Petrol

ENGINE:

Replace spark plug. Check carburator and linkages, adjust if needed. Check PVC Hose, replace if needed. Check starter belt for cracks & proper adjustment, replace/adjust if needed. Check valve clearance, replace if needed. Check fuel filter, replace if needed.

AIR FILTER:

Replace air filter.

Battery

BATTERY:

Check for corrosion & loose terminals, replace if needed. Check electorlyte level, fill if needed. Check charge receptacle condition, replace if needed. Check battery cables, replace if needed. Charge batteries

ELECTRICAL:

Check electronic speed control connections for corrosion or tightness. Check all electronical components including F&R & accelerator. Check reverse warning buzzer, replace if needed.
